Philippe Dauman has suggested that there will be another movie in the M:I series

Mission: Impossible fans will be excited to hear that there are plans for a fifth movie, according to Viacom’s CEO.
Just months after Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol smashed box offices worldwide, Paramount CEO Philippe Dauman has suggested that there will be another MI.
Dauman hinted at another film at the Paramount Pictures’ parents company’s annual shareholders meeting.
According the The Hollywood Reporter, when asked if there were any plans to develop an additional sequel, he replied: “Oh yes.”
Both Cruise and co-star Jeremy Renner have stated that they would be interested in a fifth installation of the epic movies. And no wonder, as Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol became Cruise’s highest grossing movie to date!
It might be an easy assumption that all the cast will return for the fifth instalment of the series, who will write it is more of a gamble. Will it be Ghost Protocol writers Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec, or will Brad Bird return?
Only time will tell who will accept this mission.
