"This life is not an easy one," says Peter Parker. "No s**t" seems the obvious reply as his Spider-Man is put through the ringer by these two and a half minutes.
There's a mesh of seen and unseen footage in the new promo. We see plenty more of Spidey's battles with The Lizard. We also see a geek-tastic shot of Parker crafting his own web shooters.
But the emotional journey is the focus here. Parker is on a quest to discover what happened to his parents. And his father's scientific research is somehow tied to that of Dr Curt Conners/The Lizard (Rhys Ifans). Someone intended for him to become Spider-Man.

To David Cameron, I want to live in the UK and prosper, I am an ex service man, I cant get a house from the council, I am being let down on the job front, the banks are an mess, the benefits system is flawed, every avenue of hope seems to disapear without a trace, So David, Do you think the Uk needs all these savage cuts, I know that saving money has to be done, but ripping into the poorest people in society isn't doing anyone any good, I beleive you have put this country back for at least 10 years, the other day a poor man killed himself becuase of the failed benefit system, this man was a poet and an educated man, this man was one voice crying in the wilderness, but he was british and he mattered, so again David, this voice wants you to think about that poor man who fell through the cracks becuase of your policies

@ Smudge Smith
There are indeed a lot of superheroes movies at the moment, but you could say the same about any genre.
Nobody ever says there are too many standard 'real-world' action movies, chick flicks, or horror films. Its all pretty samey really (and you notice that more the older you get in my opinion). I just think the superhero genre is getting it in the neck a bit when actually there have been so many more genres overkilled over the years, making superhero films comparatively in their infancy. And lets not forget, we had 8 Harry Potters, 10 Halloween's including the remakes, and 23 (?) Bonds or thereabouts is it? To name a few potentially overexposed genres/franchises. So why not Spidey 4?
