As the red carpets are rolled out for the 65th Cannes film festival, we're bracing ourselves for 12 days of full-on glamour and fabulous gowns. So to get us in the mood, we thought we'd take a look back at the 10 most show-stopping Cannes style moments from years gone by.

When? 1955
What happened? The Hollywood glamour queen's first trip to Cannes consisted of photocall after photocall - including this harbour-based shoot, at which she modelled a ruffle-front blouse and sequined Capri pants. During her visit, Grace was also invited to pose for pictures in neighbouring Monte Carlo. She obliged - and it was here she met her future husband, Prince Rainier III.
