The Dark Knight Rises: The stars hit New York for the premiere

He may play one of the most dastardly villains in superhero history, but British actor Tom Hardy looked to be adorably loved-up at the New York premiere of The Dark Knight Rises.

The actor, who plays Bane in the movie, was spotted snuggling up to his fiancée Charlotte Riley and she was even snapped looking lovingly at the star. We don't blame her - he is rather easy on the eye!

Tom wasn't the only star of the hotly-anticipated movie to create a stir at the premiere though - from Anne Hathaway to Christian Bale, New York became more like Gotham City as the actors strutted down the red carpet...
