Christian Bale is the best Batman
Batman is one of the most iconic superheroes ever, and the latest movies about the Dark Knight have been the most successful yet, in terms of fan reception, critical opinion and bankability.
So it's no surprise, then, that fans voted Christian Bale as their 'best Batman' on a poll conducted by MSN Movies.
He beat previous Batman stars to a glorious victory: over 18,000 fans voted in total and he took 55% of those votes himself.
Michael Keaton came second with 17%, and Adam West came third, with 16% of the votes.
George Clooney and Val Kilmer didn't fare too well at all, bringing in just 6% of the votes each, making for rather forgettable Batmen.
Bale began his Batman 'career' in 2005 in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins and has since been a part of the global hype around the series, which also includes the monumentally popular The Dark Knight and has now concluded with The Dark Knight Rises.
