Shia LaBeouf (yes, him out of Transformers) has gone all method on us, taking LSD to prepare for his next role.
Shia's next flick The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countrymen requires him to trip on acid. So Shia, determined to do things the proper way, went out and did it for real. "There's a way to do an acid trip like Harold [and] Kumar, and there's a way to be on acid," he told USA Today. It seems he chose the latter!
"Sean Penn actually strapped up to that chair in Dead Man Walking. These are the guys I look up to," he said.
Shia's also going to be doing his sex scenes 'for real' in a forthcoming Lars Von Trier erotic drama called Nymphomaniac. The young blockbuster star appears to be turning into quite the method actor.
