Ben Affleck: 'I was sleeping with the director so I got the job'

Ben Affleck brought his new spy thriller Argo to The London Film Festival on Wednesday night with co-stars John Goodman and Bryan Cranston. There were smiles all round at the gala screening.
Stars John Goodman and Bryan Cranston joined Ben on the red carpet to celebrate the upcoming release of Argo, his already acclaimed thriller in which Affleck successfully extracts a group of Americans from incarceration in Iran by faking a movie production.
Ben stars in the new movie as well as directing. "I was greedy and I wanted to be part of it. It was the part of me as an actor, the mindset that says, 'You've got to chase jobs when you see them'. And I was sleeping with the director so I got the job," he quipped.
