The rain stayed away in London long enough for the likes of Johnny Depp, Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter to shine on the purple carpet for the Dark Shadows premiere.
Forget the tux, yet somehow Johnny manages to pull off this look effortlessly.
He plays the main character Barnabus. Chatting on the purple carpet about his character he described him as: "A reluctant vampire, a very elegant 18th century, well-bred man who was cursed and locked into a box."

Johnny Depp is one of the most versatile actors I've had the pleasure of watching. ANY movie he's in - I want to see. Full on non-stop entertainment - I love it.

With Tim Burton you never go away unhappy he always makes a GREAT film! Johnny Depp is really great in all Mr Burtons films. i can't wait to see this one and then add it my Tim Burton collection of DVDs :)
