Which 2012 Summer action flick was top of the class?

Avengers better then Batman? Maybe in the boxoffice but no way as a film. I really liked avengers, its not often a good superhero film comes along, very well done, funny and not to predictable. However Although the dark knight rises wasn't perfect like its predecessor it beat avengers with a much more deep storyline and better charecterdevelopment​. Both films were visually great i thought and the acting was great in both. I think the baine voice argument is blown a bit out of proportion, its not that annoying. There were a couple of things that I can't quite explain completely that stopped me thinking rises was perfect, just because im a bit of a batman nerd and felt a couple of things were not quite true anough to Batman but there were also little details and ideas that i thought really made the film great and I really think nolan did a wonderful job of a balance between finishing a series he created but leaving it open anough for someone to pick iot up if they desire.

I think it's safe to say The Dark Knight Rises has been movie of the year so far!

TDKR hand's down. Not only the best superhero movie ever, not  only the best of  the Nolan Batman trilogy, but the best batman ever. Highest budget, bigger cast, more fighting, more characters, great ending to the film and the trilogy. It's already the 30th highest grossing film of all time, Give it a few month, it will be in the top 10.

The Avengers is the benchmark all superhero will be measured by absolutely brilliant!!!!

People forget it's hard to make a third film especially when the 2nd one was the highest grossing weekend movie ever until harry potter and the avengers broke it but it is still the 12th highest grossing movie of all time. I think NOLAN done a great job. Bane was cool and realistic just like all of 'BATMAN BADDIES. The fighting was the best of the 3 movies and BANE is the only one who can match BATMAN physically  so it was good to see BATMAN fall at first. And then like the title of the movie, he RISES to save GOTHAM. People say they added too many characters. You can't have a BATMAN trilogy without CATWOMAN & ROBIN, its unheard of. TIM BURTON and JOEL SCHUMACHER didn't miss them out, why would an even better director such as CHRISTOPHER NOLAN miss them out. He left us guessing until the end about ROBIN, he left the movie open with a twist and potential for a future. Great action, maybe not as realistic as TDK but still not as far fetched as other superhero movies, great cast, great end, What else do people want? It's already the 29th highest grossing film of all time, check wikipedia!

John Carter was actually very good. I'd hardly call it the "biggest flop in cinema history". Take a look at what The Postman did. 

PS: As for deja vu - that just about applies to ALL movies these days. Like TV: 5000 chanels of repeats, repeats and repeats interspersed with 500, 000 adverts to buy, buy, buy! Perhaps the eternal commercial message is wearing a little thin? It is with me. My TV is no more than an ornament these days.

I have watch the listed films. I like the spider man better. I am a super man fan.lol
