Daniel Radcliffe talks about his first ever role as a leading male in a rom-com, and opens up about his own love life while he's at it
Briefly poking a nose out of her rom-com burrow, in 2004 Bullock starred in the racially-charged drama, Crash, in which she played her most unlikable character to date. Racist, bigoted and downright mean, Bullock was so keen to take on the role of Jean Cabot that she even bought her own plane ticket to the set. This was just as well since the budget was so itsy bitsy that director Paul Haggis was forced to film in his own house. Not that it didn’t pay off as Crash went on to win three Oscars, right before Sandra B saw her own shadow and returned to rom-coms.
