Green Mile star Michael Clarke Duncan dies

Rex
Michael Clarke Duncan
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan has passed away at 54.
His fiancée Omarosa Manigault confirmed the news via his representative and was with him in his hospital room in Los Angeles at the time. It has been claimed that she left the room briefly and he passed while she was out.
TMZ reports that his rep said he never fully recovered from a July heart attack. He was hospitalised after going into cardiac arrest and was admitted into an intensive care unit.
The actor, who was most famous for his role in the 1999 movie The Green Mile alongside Tom Hanks, was often referred to as a 'gentle giant' thanks to his 6ft 5in 300lb stature and deep voice combined with his funny and personable manner. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as convicted murderer John Coffey in the heart-wrenching film.
He also starred in Armageddon, The Island, Planet Of The Apes and The Whole Nine Yards.
