Elliott Tittensor stars in new film Spike Island
Highlights: Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey web chat

Lionsgate
We got fans of Matthew Conaughey and Channing Tatum from the new movie Magic Mike to send in questions - and here's how they answered!
How did you guys get in such great shape for this?
C: I was working out hard man, I don't like staying in shape!
M: I just came off another film 10 days prior. I did an intensive 2 days from 10 days and watched my diet, got into 'Dallas the stripper' shape.
What's the best thing you both learned while filming this?
C: Days just went, hours were gone. You still had to work hard, you just had to be ON. Every movie doesn't have to be like, a grind. It can be a lot of fun.
M: I was reminded... by another guy I work with... you cast the right people in the right story then you create the right environment. It can really unfold naturally. As Steven (Soderbergh) says 'structure... but with fluid'.
Channing, you're a super dancer, did you cheoreograph any of your own scenes?
C: Um no We had two incredible choreographers, they're some of the best in the business. They did a favour for me and dumbed it down so it's less complicated than they're used to. The last one I do, a spinny one in a black outfit, is more of a freestyle. They coached me through it.
Matthew, you have the hottest body out of all of the guys in the movie. Did you give them tips on buffing up?
M: The guys were in great shape. If any of them were slipping, it was my character Dallas' job to get them back on it. In my mind, dallas was about to come out with his own line of supplements called 'Exquisite'...

Channing - would you like to star in 50 Shades of Grey?
C: *laughs* I would? I think my wife would have a pre-requisite that SHE has to play Ana. If not, I don't think she'd let me do it. There's a lot of bad stuff in that book...
MATTHEW - What about this movie appealed to you?
M: The director Steven Soderberg, the story... I like when people wanna shine a light on a subculture or a little piece of the world, something we know is there but never had an inside look of it. And the fun of it. It had funny written all over it as well as seedy and showman.
Thanks for giving Brit girls their libidos back Channing and Matthew!
C: HELL YEAH. One, you guys always had it. Two, I love that 50 Shades and Magic Mike can do a similar thing of empowering y'all to be as crazy as men are.
Matthew and Channing - What's the one thing you love to do when you're in the UK?
M: I'm a Hyde Park fan...
C: I'd go for a pub lunch...
M: It's like... where's Channing? Down the pub. Having lunch!
Do you remember the first thing you bought with your first acting paycheck?
M: I bought a full tank of super unleaded. I filled it ALL the way up. I got premium, baby...
You guys have made me want to hunt for American men - Good work!
C; I LOVE the word hunting there. I think men should be hunted...
How long did it take you to learn the routines?
M: Took me every extra hour I had up until I did it. Five weeks maybe?
C: it's hard. You can learn the choreography really quickly but to get inside it is completely different.
Channing - if you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would it be?
C: Ghengis Khan
