He's one of the toughest men in Hollywood, so it's no surprise that Hugh Jackman has been seen working out in preparation for a new role despite a recent skin cancer scare.

The X-Men actor, 45, recently revealed that he had to undergo more treatment after battling the common form of cancer for the second time in a year.

Wearing a plaster on his nose following his most recent procedure, he was seen in a New York park kickboxing and performing other martial arts with a sword in training for his role as Captain Blackbeard in Pan, a new Peter Pan movie which is set for release in 2015.
