According to Entertainment Weekly, a scene where Kristen Wiig goes on a blind date with Paul Rudd was cut from Bridesmaids.
Apparently Paul's character turns out to be a bit of a 'rage-aholic', but not even that saved it from being edited! Kristen told EW: "I mean, we did screenings, and when he popped up on screen, people just went crazy.
"You rarely get to see that side of Paul Rudd because he's such a nice person, you know, and in this scene he's such an a-hole. We had so much fun the days he was there and it was so incredibly painful. Our first cut was so long. It's the hardest thing to have to cut stuff."

Its a pile of rubbish if you ask me, when movies today, such as the inbetweeners movie, should be rated 18, but instead was released as a 15 for profit purposes. If companies are going to inforce age censoring, they should be concistent.

As long as they include all of this extra gore on the dvd as 2 films like theatrical one and the extra bloody one, then all will be fine. after all its only so they get more people in the cinemas.

Most of the recent films lack story lines and usually revision of old films. I suppose one need to rely on CGI to pull the crowd. Censor or no censor, movies these days are nothing but a money making scheme at the expense of art.

So there is no point going to see this at the cinema then, I might as well wait for the uncut bluray.
Like most horror films now adays all the dvds / blurays are uncut / extreme editions, makes you wonder why people go to the cinema to watch them at all.

The rating on films are strict. Like you can't go see/buy an 18 film if you aren't 18. But films are passive. You don't have to do anything. What about Videogames? The call of Duty series involved repeatedly killing People!

Wont make a bit of difference, if the stories good, if its well acted it will carry the day, I cite Avatar, didn't need gory scenes as the plot, scenery, and acting were excellent.

right, stop right there... stop slating films just because theyre not for you!! This story will likely be have its haters too you know and have people saying its a load of crud! peoples tastes are different, leave alone. Just getting fed up hearing people slag off a series just because it doesnt do it for them. When it comes down to it everyone likes their own things. wheesht the lot of you.

A 12A? Damnit - its gonna be nothing like the book. The context of this story isn't meant to be cute, fluffy and suitable for kids - its meant to be nasty and challenging. Censoring it so kids can watch it is in a lot ways destroying the essence of what it is about.

The billboard poster for Hunger Games shows the actress preparing to shoot an arrow. If she did the arrow flights would cut her fingers off, the arrow is between her fingers rather than resting on the top, bad error by the set up crew...

I enjoyed the Hammer films back when I was teenager but all these supernatural epics are becoming a bore and that is on TV too. They have just hit on another thing on which to hook teenagers and extract their cash. That is all this type of producer cares about.

To LOP is to cut. To LOB is to throw. Even though you are using slang words, they mean a definitive thing. Please use a dictionary or don't try to use slang, or don't try to write. They're only cutting the scenes to get a larger demographic audience. Personally I think it will go straight to a dead-beat series on a little-known channel. Is that cynical?
