Paramount to open theme park outside London
What should we be looking forward to at the Paramount theme park?

Paramount are launching a 'Disney-style' theme park in Kent, featuring rides and experiences based around the biggest Paramount movie franchises.
The enormous new project is projected to create 27,000 jobs and will cost Paramount somewhere in the region of £2 billion to construct.
The plans aren't finalised as yet, but the idea of a Paramount theme park is an exciting prospect. The storied Hollywood studio have a host of phenomenal franchises in their stable, including a host of theme park friendly collections such as Mission Impossible (above).

I loved Universal Studios so i hoping this will be something the same as it. It sure would be wicked to have our own one here in the UK if not better :D. Shame we don't have the tropical weather, beaches and all that adorable stuff you get in the US :(

This is probably along the same lines as the one in Murcia, Spain. Paramount do not invest the capital into the park but allow their name to be used under license. It will be up to a developer to raise the 2 billion and build the park. Sometime never perhaps?

Why do all the theme parks have to be built way down in england. OK, good for the areas with plenty of work, but what of the cost for people in the north and north of the border to visit the new park when it gets built.
