Simon Pegg webchat highlights

MSN Movies chatted to Simon Pegg about A Fantastic Fear of Everything, David Cameron (eek!) and Sherlock Holmes.

MSN Movies sat down to chat to the very lovely Mr Simon Pegg about A Fantastic Fear of Everything.

Kerri-Ann Roper, Simon Pegg and Lucy Mapstone

In case you missed it, here are the highlights:

Question: Who's been your favorite actor/actress to work with?
Simon Pegg: "I couldnt' possibly make a choice I've worked with so many great people and I don't really have a favourite, they all have their merits and they're all different. I love working with Tom Cruise because he just brings out the best in everybody."

Question: If you were Prime Minister what would you change?
Simon Pegg: "David Cameron's living conditions!"

Question: Will you, Nick and Edgar be writing any more screenplay`s together after World's End?
Simon Pegg: "I certainly hope so I hope to work with them both for as long as is possible."

Question: Your British contemporaries like Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand have done huge hosting gigs in the US - is this something you'd ever consider?
Simon Pegg: "I'd rather not do things as myself. Being known for being you makes it difficult for people to accept you being you. I'm not as desperate to be famous as Ricky and Russell! (Smiley face follows!)"

Question: Simon, any spoilers regarding The World's End?
Simon Pegg: "No I hate spoilers, spoilers are spoilers because they spoil things and I would hate to spoil the very thing I'm about to make."

Question: Is there anything you can tell us about the new Star Trek movie? How was it reprising the role of Scotty?
Simon Pegg: "I can tell you that it's set in space and that it was a lot of fun."

Question: Hi Great Peggster, lots of French love! Sorry to be cruel but... Sherlock or Dr Who?
Simon Pegg: "Sherlock! I've just worked with Benedict and I do love that show. If asked to choose I would say I prefer Sherlock!"

Question: How many Cadbury's cream eggs can you eat in one sitting?
Simon Pegg: "168"

Question: What future projects have you got in the pipe line?
Simon Pegg: "I'll be doing the World's End which I'm very excited about in September and a film with Peter Chelsom who directed Hear My Song and Funny Bones and I start that in the New Year."
