Just stick with the superb Episodes 4, 5, and 6 - Everything else is just tripe!
This is getting me down. They cant of run out of ideas can they. Do we really need to watch starwars in 3d or hd. It is ok as it is leave it be.
STOP REMAKING EVERYTHING.
Didn't George Lucas originally plan to do nine films when he was making the original three?
A disney star wars film I really don't think it will work disney films are too cutsey dont think they can handle an epic saga like star wars successfully
I would like to see the time between Episodes 3 & 4, the rebellion being born, the capture of the Death Star Plans.
But how will it work, will it be Episode 3.5.
Anything else beside that 18 year gap, would be hard to make, no onje is interested in what happened after the Empire were overturned, and no one is interested in what happened leading up to Episode 1, no Darth Vader, no Empire, surely no plot.
For me there are moments of movie magic that should be left alone, the original trilogy was simply that pure magic. If they are going to release more films, then the characters and the continuity must be correct. Only george has this vision, he must write the scripts.
Or we might end up with a STAR WARS vs STAR TREK THE JEDI GENERATION. Cringe......
Oh my god dread to think what this will look like Big Star Wars Fan leave it alone.
But Disney I keep getting flashes of John Carter and cringeing.
I hope I will be proved wrong but lets face it will never beat the Originals.
Lucas getting greedy!
So if they produce more sequels what would they be? Luke Skywars retirement party? Hans Solo and the bath chair of Dantui?
Vader is dead, the main characters had destroyed the Empire, so what could be done apart from a never ending series of odd bad guys, like the clone wars! Not a good idea, but I suppose that Disney has to recoup some of the money they paid.
The worrying thing for the film buff is that Disney will soon have a monopoly of the SGI studios, if they don't have already.
