Lauren Adkins, a Las Vegas student studying at the University Of Nevada, is about to marry Robert Pattinson.
There's only one tiny hitch though. Lauren's husband-to-be is made of cardboard. Twilight fan Lauren will tie the knot with the cutout figure pictured above (who she bought at a record shop in 2010) nonetheless and she's made quite a splash with the news of her forthcoming wedding.
"The wedding is a performance art piece that is part of my thesis exhibition," Lauren told MSN Movies. "It's a beautiful, escapist fantasy and I'm living it," she has also said.
Lauren may seem a bit crazy to some. But she's not nearly as nutty as some of the extreme movie fans we've found.
