Transgender Wachowski brother steps out at Cloud Atlas
Lana Wachowski first made a name as the second half of the famous Wachowski brothers directing duo.

They made a name for themselves as the directing brains behind The Matrix.
And now Lana Wachowski has hit headlines as she stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie, Cloud Atlas.
Lana, formerly known as Larry Wachowski, revealed in July this year she's been transitioning into a transgender for a few years.
Speaking at a Human Rights Campaign earlier in the week, she said: "Every one of us, every person here, every human life, represents a negotiation between public and private identity. If I can be that person for someone else, then that sacrifice of my private civil life may have value."
Last night she posed happily alongside her brother, Andy.

Apart from The Matrix series, the Wachowski duo are also associated with other movies like V for Vendetta, The Invasion and Speed Racer.
