Skyfall has picked up the gong for the Outstanding British Film at the 2013 Baftas.
The award was presented by Bradley Cooper and Ben Affleck.
Director Sam Mendes paid tribute to the 'bravery and brilliance' of Daniel Craig and he's not the only one who's a fan of the actor.

Connery in his era was superb but DC is taking it on. The jokes have mostly gone and we at last have a serious Bond, the way the character should be. Cant wait for Skyfall.

i think that Mr Craig is a fantastic bond but he is a very good part of a great machine, the way in which his version of bond has been created it just feel more true to life and actually feels more like what i think ian Fleming would have liked if he where alive today i think he would certainly approve, i have always watched the bond movies, christmas is not the same without a bond movie or 2 on tv. the way Mr Craig has taken the already established character to a complete and utter new level is down to his acting skill i think for definite the dc bond movies have been the best and have brought me back into the fold with a bang, i hope he knows this and never has any doubts and i pray they continue to make them in this no nonsense way, cant wait for skyfall i know its going to be great but even if it where to be not so good it will still surpass anything out there and there is no other brit actor that could take on this role with the same intensity that he brings to the new era of bond film, please stay DC i think bond would loose alot if he was to leave, keep up the amazing work, love it

Sean Connery and Roger Moore were old school classics Where Pierce Brosnan was that modern day classic bond with more Charisma and good 1 liners. Daniel Craig has taken Bond to a new and more intense level such as the physicality/fight sequences and action which has not been seen in other bond movies...casino and quantum were brilliant movies and also they had BIG Budgets.
Pierce Brosnan smashed it with Goldeneye, Tommorow never dies, the world is not enough and Die another Day. All Bonds were Brilliant and successful in their own rights and all had their era. Everyone has their favourites and my favourite was Brosnan/Bond.

He's not the best. Skyfall was brilliant but a lot of that had to do with going back to the old skool Bond formula, bit of cheesy humour here and there. Casino Royale and Quantum were attempts to turn Bond into Bourne and they failed miserably. For me, Goldfinger still the best Bond film of all time and Craig has redeemed himself afyer Skyfall, but he still 4th to Connery, Brosnan and Moore on the list of best Bonds

If all the hype is too be believed Skyfall looks set to be the best Bond film ever, but in my humble opinion I still think Sean Connery is the best Bond. If you read Ian Fleming's description of Bond he was perfectly cast for the part, although Fleming wanted Cary Grant for the part and the producers wanted Roger Moore, but he was still contracted to 'The Saint.' Ian Fleming stated afterwards that Connery was ideal for the part.
Incidentally Connery was again perfect for the part of Captain Ramius in 'The Hunt for Red October' which the author of the book, Tom Clancy endorsed.
Perhaps MSN should do a poll on the best Bond but I think that Craig would be behind Connery and Moore
