Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson is now 'frontrunner' for the role of Anastacia Steele in the movie adaptation of monster bestseller Fifty Shades Of Grey. A great part for Emma? We're not so sure...
The character of Anastacia has to go through the sexual voyage of discovery we all read about, including those naughty bondage scenes. The part requires a darker edge that somehow doesn't feel befitting of our Emma, who has a great post-Potter future ahead of her without the need to star in the novel that pinched JK Rowling's fastest-ever selling paperback record. Sure, she's bang on the age for the part at 22 and she has great looks. But we feel Anastacia might be better for, say, one of these young ladies...

50 Shades is a poor excuse for ero tic fiction, I've read better stories of this sort on the internet for free. In comparison to some incredible romance writers out there, it is beyond amateur. A colleague of mine was reading it, so I picked it up and started reading a chapter out loud to the staff room...it was pure comedy. I think if they actually made this into a film it would be such a waste when there are much better series out there which could be brought to the big screen.

The book is just an updated version of The Story of O - that was boring. No doubt the film will be just as boring and superficial as the book Fifty Shades of Grey whatever actress plays the role. Who cares. Mature-thinking and educated filmgoers want to watch better films than from crap material like this.

I quite like Emma Watson - she's a fantastic actress and it helps that she's incredibly attractive. Which is why I hope she doesn't ruin her career by working what is nothing more than the latest forgettable craze. Same goes for Jennifer Lawrence. two very respectable actresses that would be throwing away their career for fuelling nothing more than a bandwagon everyone has jumped on.

Anastasia is a virgin at first but it would take one hell'uve an actress to portray this woman. A really great actress is needed and one who wouldn't mind stripping off but show love too. Will look forward to see this film.
