Avengers Assemble: new posters and stills
Used to the new title yet? No? Never mind! It's the same awesome movie and we have our grubby mitts on a new set of character posters and some brand new stills.
Undoubtedly, it will push the envelope beyond any of the previous films featuring these characters. And yes, Iron Man, we're including you when we say that.
The full-length trailer guarantees an epic spectacle. The only question is whether director Joss Whedon and crew can cram in credible story arcs for all six characters. Web critics have prematurely dubbed it "Iron man and pals" following trailers that appear to favour Robert Downey's 'billionaire playboy philanthropist' character Tony Stark (aka Iron Man).
Avengers Assemble is the new UK title for the blockbuster formerly known as The Avengers. The title was changed due to concerns that the movie would be confused with the 1998 Ralph Fiennes/Uma Thurman adaptation of the British TV series.
"When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster."
Avengers Assemble is released on 26 March 2012.

Looks boring to be honest. The ultimate Avengers were an amazing comic. But, the films wont capture the comics, because on screen it looks daft. Thor is a poor character, Hawkeye is'nt that good. Hulk is boring. Chris Evans who plays Cap America is rubbish, Johansonn is nothing like Black Widow, shes there for breasts and other eye candy.
Down Jr owns Tony Stark and Iron Man. But the films themselves were boring and dont utilised Downey's acting skills or the stories available from iron man source material. Its going to be an explosion fest, with not much depth, plenty of slow motion, back flips, and then looking up into the camera.
Im most excited about The Dark Knight Rises.
