The Iron Man 3 plot will see Robert Downey face his toughest challenge yet, as revealed by the new Iron Man 3 teaser trailer and a new set of images.

Iron Man 3 will take Tony Stark to much darker territory, it appears. The formerly fun-loving action franchise will see the 'billionaire playboy philanthropist' we know and love from The Avengers pushed further than ever before.

Guy Pearce (Aldrich Killian) and Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin) are the villains who will endanger both Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey) and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) in the 2013 blockbuster, harnessing the powers we thought belonged only to our genius hero.
Watching the down-and-out intro to this trailer, we appear to be seeing Iron Man taking on the role of the redemptive hero we usually see in darker comic book stories. There's definitely something very 'Dark Knight' going on here. Let us know your thoughts on Iron Man's new direction in the comments.

Typical, Tony destroyed his house in Iron Man 2 and it looks like he has it rebuilt, all good and proper. And then some inconsiderate barsteward comes and blows it up again. People these days eh?

looks really good(compared to iron man 2), Pretty much anything with Shane Black involved is great in my book(same goes for guy pearce).
