Star Trek Into Darkness might just be the most exciting blockbuster prospect of the year.
Having re-energised the Star Trek franchise in 2009, director JJ Abrams is going bigger and better with the sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. Chris Pine (who plays Captain Kirk) is going up against Benedict Cumberbatch (playing a new villain with the decidedly normal name John Harrison) in the 3D sci-fi spectacular.

I cannot wait for this. It's a pity all the hype wasn't released closer to the official release of the movie as this is making me realise how much of a grumpy old man I am....and how very impatient I am!!

Sad to say once again 3D puts me off going see Star Trek , I will try and watch a 2D showing
at my local cinema , I hate the 3D sun glasses making the film look dark

i do love startrek,i just hope that there is a good storey line to it.its alright haveing loads of action but still got to have a storey behind it

While the last Star Trek movie was OK, it was a terrible re-write of the Star Trek canon. The stills in this collection show alot of action, which is rather typical in attracthing viewers who could not stand to watch a typical Star Trek episode.
I still have concerns about JJ Abrams running the show and I still think that stuff like Star Trek [the last movie] and Star Trek: Into Darkness have only been possible since both Rodenbury and Barret died, which I find really disrepectful.
