At the end of the first film almost everyone was present and accounted for, well apart from the fallen figure of Agent Coulson. Nevertheless Joss Whedon's got a habit of offing his protagonists and comic book history is littered with heroic sacrifice; so it's probably safe to assume that an Avenger will bite the dust when they return to the box office.
Those are our thoughts but what do you think we'll see when The Avengers re-assemble on our screens?
