Cap was strangely subdued during The Avengers' first adventure; even Joss Whedon admitted that some of his scenes were left on the cutting room floor. Of course the star spangled soldier was hardly on the sidelines, but he was obviously still adjusting to the modern world and his legendary leadership qualities only came to the fore in the movie's climax. With another solo outing set to hit cinemas before The Avengers re-assemble, you can expect Cap to be far more acclimatised to contemporary society second time around and perhaps finally able to strut his stuff as the team's de-facto leader.
