Pure evil this lot! Jamie Foxx has reportedly been lined up to face Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man as the villain of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), joining a collection of great actors preparing to bring evil to the big screen.

An early report in Variety stated that Foxx was in talks to play the part of Electro, a character created to kill Spider-Man in the world of the comics.

The report was leant weight by a Tweet from Foxx on Thursday. "Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well" said the Django Unchained star.

Assuming the reports are true, Foxx joins a host of forthcoming villains that we can't wait to see spreading evil on screen. Keep clicking to meet a line-up of dastardly cinematic villains headed your way.
