NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I am a massive fan of Jack Reacher and I can't think of anyone less suited to play him. For a start Jack Reacher is well over 6' tall!

its obvious how the dwarf was cast to play the character of jack reacher , he's probably financing this project himself , either that or one of his scientologist mates in high places paved the way for this enano to play the great man , its an insult to our intelligence , he's nothing like jack reacher and never will be , lee child must be seething , TOTAL RETHINK PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This just burst my bubble, did Lee Child not get a say in this? Jack Reacher is 6ft 5in and 250lbs, the last person I imagined playing his part would be Tom (I'll stand on an orange box ) Cruise !!!

How ridiculous. I have read every Jack Reacher book to date and I am very dissappointed that Lee Childs has let this happen. Jack Reacher is a 6 feet 5 inch tall ex military cop, built like Robocop. Cruise is a 5 feet nothing ex pantomime dwarf in comparison. Not the greatest casting. I will not be be watching this film as it will destroy the image I have of Reacher.

Rrong choice for Reacher.....Cruise is too small ...Other actors would fit the bill better.....I have been put off a bit by Cruise acting as Jack Reacher........I will now wait for the film to come on telly......Shame really.......

Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher? Is this April 1st? I am a big fan of Tom Cruise & Jack Reacher, and I know special effects are better than ever, but how do they turn 5ft 6ins (ish) into 6ft 5ins?
Give me a break guys, anyone who has read the books will know Reacher's height and size is crucial to the plots. Sorry Tom, this one you should have avoided.

Please tell me Tom Cruise is not the final choice to play Jack Reacher. I have nothing against Tom Cruise but having read the books he is NOTHING like the description of Jack Reacher, he is supposedly a very big man and no matter how good an actor Mr Cruise is or isn't he is NOT a big man by any standards. I really hope they don't cast him as it would just make a mockery of the books. I can't believe Lee Childs could have agreed to him being cast for this part.

Wrong, selfish casting... Jack Reacher is 6'5'' tall and built like a brick wall. Cruise is 5'6'' tall and couldn't climb over a brick wall! What an utter disaster for Reacher fans! :(

Extremely BAD casting. Tom Cruise won't ever lure me to a cinema to see this vain actor TRYING to be something he just isn't. Jack Reacher is supposed to be a weighty very tall guy...... get my drift !!!

I like Tom Cruise but Jack Reacher Never. Reacher is 6'5st" 250lbs.Seriously miscast . having read many of Lee Childs books which i have enjoyed i will maybe go & see the film but think they will need to change their leading man in the further if they want Reacher fans to watch any other films they make.

Jack Reacher is 6 foot 5 inches tall in the books - how the hell is a short arse like Tom the **** Cruise playing him? I love the books, have read them all, but will NOT be going to see Cruise in the film...how disappointing is this?
