MSN Entertainment team

MSN Movies is a film site on the rise. We pack in trailers, up-to-the-minute news and comprehensive reviews of the films you care about. As if that wasn't enough, we're constantly blogging, networking (socially), interviewing and gathering films together in bizarre groups. You want lists? We got lists...

All this comes from a sinister clutch of randoms you wouldn't trust to look after your cat. Meet them below.

Ed Holden - movies editor

Ed Holden

Ed jumped ship from the magazine business back in 2006, leaving a host of titles in his wake that included Total Film, DVD Review, Hotdog, Total Guitar and Classic Rock.

Ever since, he's been hacking at the cultural coalface of MSN Movies; which is a posh way of saying that he doesn't get out much anymore. You'll usually find him in a darkened room in Soho wondering why the latest dross isn't a bit more like White Men Can't Jump.

Jonathan Crocker - contributor

Jonathan Crocker

Jonathan is a freelance journalist who previously worked at Total Film, Men's Health and Time Out. He writes about film, men's lifestyle, health, travel and sport, also contributing to the likes of i-D magazine, ShortList and Little White Lies. Despite spending too much of his time in books and dark rooms, Jonathan's other life-passion is snowboarding: as he writes this, he wishes he was up a mountain instead. Jonathan is probably the only person on Earth whose ideal day would be split between riding powder and rewatching Carl Theodor Dreyer movies. He can usually be found in central London's darkest speakeasies at 3am.

Anna Smith

Anna Smith is a film critic and broadcaster. She is a regular contributor to MSN, Empire, Time Out, Metro, ELLE, Observer New Review, Sight & Sound, New! and BBC Radio. Anna can usually be found in darkened screening rooms, but occasionally gets up early enough to review movies on Saturday's Sunrise show on Sky News.

She is the Vice Chair of the Critics' Circle Film Section, and boasts a particularly thorough knowledge of romantic comedies, dance films and low-budget Britflicks set on council estates.
