Anchorman director talks sequel

Will Ferrell is returning for another Anchorman movie
Ron Burgundy and co will be facing a "blast of change" in the eagerly anticipated Anchorman sequel, it has been revealed.
Funnyman Will Ferrell and his co-stars Paul Rudd and Steve Carell are due to reprise their roles as hapless 70s newscaster Ron and his team in a follow-up to the 2004 film, and writer/director Adam McKay has given Empire some hints about what fans can expect.
He said: "We know these guys never deal well with change, and the good thing is that there's a big blast of change coming, according to the regular timeline.
"We're going to be throwing a lot of innovation at them, and they're not going to handle it well!"
He explained the action would be set in the late 70s, when newsrooms started to diversify and round-the-clock coverage took off.
Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy - which McKay penned with Ferrell - grossed 91 million dollars worldwide at the box office following its release. The sequel has long been in the pipeline but the future of the film looked uncertain at times.
However, the filmmaker revealed plans for the movie are now well under way.
He said: "We've done about two per cent! Half a per cent? We've got five pages of story notes and chunks of story. We're holing up writing for the next three months."
