Anna Friel is set to make her big-screen return in The Poisoners.
The actress is said to have signed on to star in Jon Amiel's dark comedy alongside Emily Watson and Lena Headey, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The trio are tipped to play three women left behind in an English farming community during the First World War, who get involved with German prisoners-of-war.
Ken Duken, Hanno Koffler, and Alexander Scheer could co-star alongside the British beauties, possibly as the German POWs.
Filming is expected to begin this summer in Ireland and Germany.
Anna was last seen in Limitless alongside Bradley Cooper and in London Boulevard with Keira Knightley, Ray Winstone and Colin Farrell.
