Gemma Arterton is set to star as Justin Timberlake's love interest in the film Runner, Runner, according to reports.
The thriller, which will be shot in Puerto Rico, will also feature Ben Affleck, Variety said.
Chart star turned actor Justin will play a US university student who is cheated out of the money for his Princeton tuition fees while playing online poker.
He ends up becoming the right-hand man of the corrupt boss, played by Ben, of the internet site, Variety said.
The film, which will begin shooting at the end of next month, will be directed by Brad Furman, who is best known for The Lincoln Lawyer.
It was recently reported that Tamara Drewe star Gemma is also in talks to join the Jeff Buckley biopic, Mystery White Boy.
The Bafta-nominated actress is said to be considering a role as one of the women in the life of the late rock star.
