Ashley Hamilton is in discussions to play a villain in Iron Man 3.
Variety reports that the singer and actor, son of veteran actor George Hamilton, would take on a small role as "government cyborg" Firepower in the film.
Former Sunset Beach star Ashley is said to be good pals with Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr, but the pair have never worked together before.
Iron Man 3 is due to start production this month, with Avengers Assemble's Robert reprising his role as businessman Tony Stark. Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Rebecca Hall are also set to star in the film.
