Christian Bale has apparently revealed that he once dated Drew Barrymore.
The Batman actor took the Whip It actress to the movies when they were teenagers but it seems there wasn't a spark as the pair never went out together again, reports the New York Daily News.
The 38-year-old British star - who has been happily married to wife Sibi Blazic for 12 years - told GQ Australia: "We went to see some bloody awful horror film, and that was the end of it."
Christian added that 37-year-old US actress Drew, who is thought to be expecting her first child with fiance Will Kopelman, "never called again".
The actor will next be seen as the Caped Crusader in the third and final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises.
