Bay plays down Wahlberg rumour
Mark Wahlberg has been in talks about working with Michael Bay
Michael Bay has said reports that Mark Wahlberg could be starring in the next Transformers movie are just rumours.
Speculation was rife that the Boogie Nights star was set to sign up for the fourth instalment in Michael's action movie franchise, with claims that the pair had been in talks about a role.
Director Michael took to his website to reveal the pair had been in discussions - about a different movie.
He said: "The Mark Wahlberg T4 rumour is just a rumour.
"Mark and I are talking about another film project."
Mark has finished filming crime thriller Broken City, in which he stars alongside Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones. He recently starred as a teddy-bear loving grown-up in the comedy Ted.
