Christian Bale is in talks to play an assassin in a new movie.
The Batman actor is in early negotiations for the role in The Creed Of Violence, which is based on Boston Teran's novel and is set during the Mexican Revolution.
Variety reported that if Christian signs up he would play Rawbone, an assassin who is caught as he is making plans to sell a truck full of stolen weapons.
He is then forced to work with a young Bureau of Investigation agent to infiltrate the Mexican criminal underground.
The screenplay was penned by Todd Field, who is also set to direct.
Movie bosses hope to start shooting The Creed Of Violence next year.
