Crews joins Scary Movie 5 cast

Terry Crews is joining the cast of Scary Movie 5.

The Expendables 2 star - who plays one of Sylvester Stallone's team of mercenaries in the film - revealed to movie website Blackfilm.com he will be appearing in the fifth instalment of the spoof horror comedy franchise.

Terry said: "I will also be in Scary Movie 5. That's being directed by my man Malcolm Lee, who I love from The Best Man."

He added: "I do plan on being in Expendables 3, which is really popping up really quick. A lot of people are talking about it, but it depends on how '2′ does."

The news comes as The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen have officially signed deals to appear in Scary Movie 5,.

Studio Dimension films revealed they will play "the world's hottest new couple", with one or both being killed in the movie's opening sequence.

Every Scary Movie instalment has seen a big name celebrity cameo, only to be killed off in the opening scene in a ridiculously over-the-top way, sending up Drew Barrymore's death in the opening of Scream. Charlie and Lindsay will follow in the footsteps of Pamela Anderson, Shaquille O'Neal and others.

Ashley Tisdale and Erica Ash are starring in the latest movie, scheduled for release in cinemas in 2013.

The first four movies starred Anna Faris, but she has apparently decided not to reprise her role in another sequel.
