Davis joins Eleanor Rigby film

Viola Davis landed an Oscar nomination for The Help
Viola Davis has joined the cast of The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: His And Hers.
The 46-year-old actress - who was nominated for Oscars for 2008's Doubt and last year's hit The Help - has been added to the film alongside William Hurt, Isabelle Huppert, Bill Hader and Ciaran Hinds, reports Screen Daily.
So far it isn't known who Viola will play in the movie.
The newcomers join James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain, Viola's co-star in The Help, who had already been cast as a married couple who deal with an "emotional, life-altering experience" when the woman returns to college.
The double love story, which has been written and will be directed by Ned Benson, will show both the wife and husband's different perspectives, and will be stand-alone movies.
The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: His and Hers has already started shooting in New York and is due to be released in 2013.
