Emmy Rossum is apparently set to star opposite Hilary Swank
Emmy Rossum is in talks to star opposite double Oscar winner Hilary Swank in You're Not You.
The Phantom Of The Opera star would play a self-absorbed college student whose life is turned around when she takes a part-time job caring for a woman with motor neurone disease (Swank), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Shana Feste and Jordan Roberts have written the script, adapted from Michelle Wildgen's book. Theatre director George C Wolfe will take charge of the movie when it begins shooting in Los Angeles next month.
Hilary is co-producing the indie-drama with her 2S Films partner Molly Smith.
Emmy plays Fiona, the oldest daughter of William H Macy, in the US version of Paul Abbott's hit drama Shameless.
