Fiddy to play Stallone sidekick

Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson enjoys working in both music and film
Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson has revealed he will play Sylvester Stallone's sidekick in new action blockbuster The Tomb.
It was recently announced that the rapper-turned-actor will star alongside Hollywood heavyweights Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film, which will see Sly play a security expert forced to escape from one of his own jails after being wrongly imprisoned.
Curtis, 36, revealed he will play Stallone's right-hand man, a reformed cyber criminal, in the 2013 blockbuster and is relishing the chance to work alongside the veteran after passing up a role in The Expendables in 2010.
He said: "I'm Stallone's assistant. It's going to be cool.
"I play a computer expert who has been incarcerated in the past for cyber crimes, and I work for Stallone's character now as he goes in and out of the different systems. It's cool, it's a really cool project.
"When I read it for the first time I was really excited about it."
He added: "I was actually going to be a part of The Expendables. I would have played Terry Crews' role in that but I had an album that was coming out in the same period and a fragrance launch and a lot of other things I had lined up."
Fiddy, who found fame in 2003 with his breakthrough hip-hop album Get Rich Or Die Tryin', is happy combining his acting and rapping careers.
"I love both of them," said the New Yorker, who appeared at the Gadget Show in Birmingham to promote his range of headphones. "When you actually make music, I think what you do for relaxation is go to film and television.
"In film, I have had moments where I just got a chance to appreciate it from a fan's perspective, and I developed a passion for it and wanted to be a part of different things."
