Ellen DeGeneres and her Finding Nemo castmates might get the chance to voice their fishy characters once again following the announcement that a sequel is in the works.
Deadline reports that Andrew Stanton - who directed Ellen and other voice stars in the original - is on board to make a follow-up to the Disney Pixar flick, which raked in more than 800 million dollars worldwide and set various box office records when it opened in 2003.
Plot details are not known, but according to Deadline the filmmaker "has a concept the studio loves".
The much-loved animated movie followed a Clownfish called Marlin (Albert Brooks), who enlists the help of a forgetful Pacific Regal Blue Tang called Dory (Ellen) as they travel across the ocean searching for Marlin's missing son Nemo (Alexander Gould).
US talk show host Ellen has previously said she would be thrilled if film bosses decided to make a sequel to the first film.
