Gina Carano drives into Fast Six

Gina Carano could soon be revving into a role on Fast Six.

The Haywire star is said to be in talks to join the sixth instalment of the Fast And Furious series, reported Heat Vision Blog.

The MMA athlete-turned-actress is thought to be considering a role to play an agent alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who is reprising his part as Diplomatic Security Service Agent Luke Hobbs.

While the plot is being kept under wraps, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are set to return as rogue heroes Brian O'Conner and Dominic Toretto respectively.

Justin Lin is back to direct his fourth film in the franchise, with screenwriter Chris Morgan - who wrote the past three Fast films.

Production is set to begin this summer, for a release in May 2013.

Gina, who made her big-screen debut in Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, has another acting job lined up in John Stockwell's action thriller In The Blood, which she is expected to shoot after Fast Six.
