Green joins Once director's film

Cee Lo Green will play hip-hop star Troublegum in the film
Cee Lo Green has signed up for Can A Song Save Your Life?, the new film from acclaimed Once director John Carney.
The Forget You singer will play major hip-hop star Troublegum in the musical drama, Variety reports.
Cee Lo joins a cast which already includes Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeld and Catherine Keener in the music drama.
John, who made the 2006 film Once on a shoe-string budget, is working with Gregg Alexander of pop group New Radicals on the music for the film.
Meanwhile, Cee Lo has just wrapped filming the second series of the US version of The Voice, on which he is a coach.
