Jake Gyllenhaal could be getting back into a policeman's uniform for thriller Prisoners.
The Jarhead star, who plays a cop in End Of Watch, is in talks to star in the vigilante drama opposite Hugh Jackman, reported Variety.
Hugh is to portray a dad who wants to track down his daughter's kidnapper, while Jake is tipped for the role of the detective assigned to the case.
Frozen River's Melissa Leo is also rumoured to make an appearance in Denis Villeneuve's film, which is scheduled to start production in early 2013.
Prisoners would mark a reunion for filmmaker Denis and Jake, who have finished filming An Enemy together.
End Of Watch, which also stars Michael Pena, America Ferrera and Anna Kendrick, opens in the UK on November 23.
