Justin Timberlake is in talks to play a "charming alcoholic" in romantic drama The Last Drop.
The Friends With Benefits star plays a man who enjoys a relationship with the bottle but realises he has to overcome his addiction after he falls in love, in the comedy drama, reported Variety.
Peter Sollett, who directed Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist, is to direct from Brandon and Phil Murphy's script.
Justin - who has been wowing US audiences in sports drama Trouble With The Curve, in which he stars alongside Clint Eastwood - has notched up an impressive list of film roles.
Following his role in The Social Network, he showed off his comedic talents in Friends With Benefits and Bad Teacher, and his action skills in the film In Time alongside Amanda Seyfried.
He is set to star in Joel and Ethan Coen's folk music drama Inside Llewyn Davis, and is currently filming gambling drama Runner Runner with Ben Affleck.
The 31-year-old, who is engaged to Jessica Biel, has insisted that his film career is his priority right now, saying: "People keep asking me when a new song or album is coming out, and I don't know what to say. Music is not my focus right now. It may be some day."
