Killing star thrilled about RoboCop

Joel Kinnaman is to play RoboCop in a reboot of the 80s film
Joel Kinnaman has admitted he feels "so lucky" to have bagged the lead in the RoboCop remake.
The Killing star revealed he had been looking for a big film role when he was cast as the man-turned-machine in the upcoming reboot of the 1987 original, which will also star Gary Oldman and Samuel L Jackson.
The Swedish-born actor said: "I was chasing a big movie and I feel so lucky it's this one.
"I don't feel like I'm about to do a big action movie. This feels like a drama about what it is to be human. That's the core of this movie, even though it comes equipped with fireworks and cool gadgets and CGI."
Joel's star is on the rise as a result of The Killing - a US TV series based on the hit Danish show - which sees him play a detective investigating the murder of a teenage girl.
The case is set to be resolved in the upcoming series two finale, leaving the show's future unclear, but Joel insisted he is ready to star as cop Stephen Holder in another series.
"I'm planning on doing the third season of 'The Killing," he declared. "I'll go up there and shoot it myself."
