Lopez eyes more films post-Idol

Jennifer Lopez has quit the American Idol judging panel
Jennifer Lopez has revealed she's keen to focus more attention on her movie career since quitting American Idol.
The singer and actress, who announced last week that she won't be returning to the judging panel of the US TV show, is currently part of the all-star cast of box office hit Ice Age: Continental Drift.
"I do miss doing films. I feel like the last two years with (American) Idol, I've really, really focused on, you know, my music... It was all kind of very synergistic, it worked really well together," the What To Expect When You're Expecting star said.
"But (film) is something that I really loved, it's how I kind of started in this business, and it doesn't leave you. I am an actress, I need to do that, too."
Before J-Lo concentrates more on film, she has a lot on her music plate. She's releasing an upcoming greatest hits album, and this summer, she embarked on a world tour with Enrique Iglesias.
The 42-year-old has taken her twins, Max and Emme, on tour with her.
"From a personal standpoint, I just want it to be (an) enjoyable, healthy, exciting experience for us, something that we can look back on and say, 'Oh, we did this'," she said. "I don't even know if they'll remember, they're only four (years old) right now, but I want it to be something that will be good for them."
J-Lo will also be keeping an eye out to make sure her fans have a good time. She's launching what's billed as a Tour Feed on jenniferlopez.com, which will give fans inside information on the tour such as set lists and rehearsal footage and photos.
