Moretz to be zombie in Maggie?

Chloe Grace Moretz is set to continue her spiral into dark films with a role in zombie movie Maggie.

The 15-year-old actress - who stars in Tim Burton's Dark Shadows - is in talks to portray one of the undead in Henry Hobson's directorial debut, reported Variety.

Chloe, who has played a vampire in Let Me In and is set to star in the title role in the Carrie remake, is tipped to be cast as a teenager who becomes infected during a zombie apocalypse.

Paddy Considine is thought to be in negotiations to play her father, whose unconditional love for his daughter allows Maggie to stay with her family over the six-month course of her gruesome transformation.

Production is due to begin in September.

Chloe, whose next big-screen outing is in Hick opposite Blake Lively, is also in talks to reprise her feisty role as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass 2. She has also signed on for the Dennis Wilson biopic, The Drummer, alongside Rupert Grint and Aaron Eckhart.
