Paula Patton could be revving up for another action role in 2 Guns.
The US actress is in talks to star alongside Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in Baltasar Kormakur's big-screen adaptation of Steven Grant's graphic novel, reported Deadline.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol star Paula could be up for the role of Denzel's love interest.
Denzel and Mark are set to play an undercover naval intelligence officer and a drug enforcement administration agent who soon realise they have been set up by the mob.
Paula - who fought against Lea Seydoux and seduced Anil Kapoor in Ghost Protocol - has just completed indie drama Disconnect opposite Alexander Skarsgard and Jason Bateman.
