Ron Perlman has signed up to star in indie action thriller Savage Mutts.
Hellboy star Ron will play Terry "Shotgun" Coburn who sets out on a path of revenge after being released from a maximum security prison, ComingSoon.net reports.
Young actor George Finn, who recently starred alongside Miley Cyrus in LOL, has also joined the cast.
Described as being in the same vein as Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, the film is due to start shooting in Los Angeles in January.
The movie will be directed by Nika Agiashvili, who has also written the script.
Nika recently worked with Ron on the short film Freedom, part of the Georgian omnibus Tbilisi, My City.
